Although being a parent is great, it can be exhausting at times. Even animals get frustrated and annoyed with their babies at times. Enjoy these baby animals pushing their mommas to their limits because it is certainly adorable!

Mom, Mom, Mom!

Did you know that tigers are pregnant for about 3.5 months. A tiger gives birth to about three or four cubs. It is known however that they can have up to seven cubs!

These cubs seem to be trying to get their mom’s attention. However, mom doesn’t even seem phased by her baby’s distractions. Could you imagine 2 or 4 more babies playing around her?

Loving On Momma

Even the most unsocial cat will nurture and enjoy her own kittens. Around 6 to 8 weeks old, a mommy cat, having accomplished the important work of teaching her kittens independence. She will most likely begin to seek distance from the crew after that.

This kitten can’t get enough of momma. The look on mommy’s face says it all, it’s just another day taking care of business.

One Of These Things Doesn’t Belong Here

A capybara will be pregnant for a 5-month gestation period. She will give birth to four or five babies. After a few days, when the babies join the rest of the group, they are nursed by all the females.

Like a good momma, this capybara has her babies under control. It seems that her babies are well behaved, but, this bird seems to be annoying.

Always Looking For Fun

Kittens are very playful animals. They will play with almost anything that they can find. They end up in very many different places that you wouldn’t even think.

Most moms struggle when their child doesn’t want to stop playing though. Just like this kitten here who got himself into some trouble her on the slide. Mommy is coming to the rescue, but we all know she’ll scold him later on.

Cautious Mom

The mother bear has always been the quintessential example of a mother’s love, and this is mainly because of their fierce, protective nature.

This cub is too eager and too excited to play in the water. He seems to be fearless. Mama bear on the other hand seems tensed and nervous. We can’t blame her, that’s what moms do.

Moms Make Great Pillows

Baby hippos are some of the strangest looking, most adorable little guys and gals out there. They’re so cute when they bop around under the water with their short little legs and big shiny heads.

Baby hippo gets tired from swimming all day. He doesn’t look comfortable, but he loves to use mom as a pillow. It isn’t comfortable for her either, but she is use to it.

Wrestle Time

Like humans, chimps love to play. A recent study of young chimpanzees shows that these animals play and develop much the same way as human children.

This little chimp is definitely in the mood to play around. He seems to like wrestling his mother and proving that he’s the boss. Mommy actually looks to be enjoying it.

Sleepy Little Ones

While cats usually have an average of four kittens in each litter, this can range from one to 12 kittens.

These kittens are definitely comfortable with their sleeping positions. Who wouldn’t be? On top of Mommy is the best place to sleep. Hang in there, mommy!

No Biting!

Usually, wolf pups are born in litters of 2-4. Brothers and sisters are called “litter mates.” Wild wolf packs are a lot like many human families.

Being bit on your nose isn’t pleasant at all. This little pup is too playful biting mom on the nose. Her mom, was of course annoyed.

Hanging In There

Infant orangutans are so attached to their mommas that they ride on her body and sleep in her nest until they develop their own skills to survive on their own. Because of this long learning curve, orangutans only have young ones every 7 – 9 years.

Isn’t this guy the cutest thing ever? He desperately wants to always have contact with his momma. However, mommy doesn’t seem to be amused with him on top of her head.

Hugs

Did you know that infant gorillas are smaller than human infants when they’re born? Gorillas have babies that weigh about 4 pounds at birth. That’s half the weight of the average human infant! However, gorillas grow faster and reach maturity around 12 years old.

This momma gorilla just wanted to spend a few moments alone to get stuff done. However, she has something different in mind. She hangs on and makes sure that she doesn’t miss a thing.

Super Mom

These babies stay within the protective shelter of their mother’s supervision while riding on her back.

This hard working momma is definitely working overtime. Hold on tight babies! This is an amazing momma!

Swim Time

When born, cubs are blind, toothless and covered in a little layer of soft, short fur. Newborn cubs are only about 25 centimeters long and weigh around one kilogram! They do grow rapidly thanks to their mother’s rich milk which is approximately 31 per cent fat.

This baby polar bear wants to swim and have fun. Momma bear is cautious though, making sure that baby is close and safe.

Hugs

A momma tiger can have up to 7 cubs, but, an average is 3. Tiger cubs in the wild will stay with their mothers until they are around 2 years of age.

No wonder momma doesn’t mind her baby tiger’s hugs. That warm sweet gesture of our babies will surely erase all our worries. Momma seems to be very comfortable and confident with baby hugging on her.

He’s Finally Asleep

Puppies are a bundle of energy, but they do also sleep for 18-20 hours a day. One minute your puppy is running around crazy playing and then next thing you know, he’s passed out.

After hours of being hyper and being too adorable. It’s nice to end the day with your little one finally falling asleep. Yes, tomorrow is another day.

Whatcha Doing Mom?

Cubs usually born in litters of three to five. They are blind at birth and are covered with a thick coat of fur, called a mantle. This fur helps to protect them from predators.

Fierce as they may seem, this mom is no match for her little one. Either she’s munching on dear mom’s ears or she’s trying to shield the sun’s rays.

Baby monkeys are mostly cared for by their mothers. If the monkeys are monogamous, the baby monkey may be cared for by both parents.

Even if you say no, chances are, your kid will try his luck and will still do it. How far can you keep your temper? Sometimes, you just have to wait until “daddy” comes. Hold on, mom!

Watch What I Can Do!

Did you know that baby penguins are born completely covered with gray, white or brown plumage. It changes as they grow to get the counter shade black and white plumage which most of us know.

We’ve all been there haven’t we? Trying to get stuff done and little one constantly wants your attention? This penguin is showing off to mommy, seemly saying, Mom, are you watching?

Are We There Yet?

Baby Giant Anteaters, called pups, are carried on their mothers’ backs for the first several months of life. They aren’t independent until around 10 months.

Can we resist it when our child asks to tag along? Only to regret our decision because they will keep on asking if we are there yet.

Quiet Time

Cats love to sleep. Wild cats need to sleep in order to conserve their energy to hunt, chase and kill their next meal. Even though our house cats do not need to hunt, the instinct to sleep and prepare for the hunt carries on.

Just when this momma cat thought she’ll have her alone time for a cat nap, her kitten found her. Maybe, she thought that she needed company. What do you think? Mom is not so sure.

He Started It!

Adult female bears give birth in dens to baby bears called cubs. Cubs are born in January and weigh between 8 ounces and 16 ounces. Female bears may give birth to 1 cub to 5 cubs at a time, but 3 is the average litter size.

It’s tough to have one kid, if you have two or more, it’s even harder. The constant blaming, yelling, crying, and so much more. This mom is definitely hearing it!

Please

Otters belong to the mammal family, so baby otters drink milk from their mother as their only source of food. But after the forty days, they are able to eat plants and tiny fish.

This momma looks like she is exhausted and begging for a break. As a new mom, you would give anything for a break for a few hours.

Needing Some Alone Time

Prairie dog babies are called pups. They are very playful and can often been seen romping near their burrows.

Privacy please! This momma and daddy can use some alone time. If you have kids, well, it’s time to look for ways to make sure that you are still able to kiss your loved one before your kid interrupts.

Get Off My Back!

Baby koalas are called Joeys. The first time you see a joey it is already 6 months old. Koala joeys are born as tiny naked creatures that don’t look anything like a koala. They move straight into the pouch, and remain unseen until they emerge at around 6 months old.

It’s fun to play games with your kids, but sometimes it is tiring! The look on this momma’s face lets us know that she is feeling this baby’s energy.

Stay Still

Female opossums, called jills are pregnant for only 12 to 13 days! They give birth to up to 20 live young at a time. The babies, called joeys, are about the size of jelly beans when they are born.

Having a bunch of kids can be exhausting. This possum has it extra tough carrying around all of her babies on her back. Stay still kids and hold on!

Come here

Dogs go through a teenage phase for up to 2-3 years depending upon the breed. Some will agree that the most challenging time to have a puppy is between the ages of 8 months to about 18 months though.

Mother dogs don’t exactly punish their newly born pups; they police them instead to ensure they don’t hurt themselves or their littermates. They also teach them the proper ways to behave. This process is called socialization, and it occurs between the third and 12th weeks of a pup’s life.

Don’t You Dare

The polar bear mother will use the time with her cubs to teach them how to hunt, swim and survive in their Arctic habitat. Generally, a polar bear cub will stay with its mother for two to three years learning important survival skills.

How many times should mom have to say “stop” before her kids actually listen? Or do they even listen? This mommy polar bear knows how you feel.

Please don’t leave

Orangutan mothers are single parents and the bond between an orangutan mother and her young is one of the strongest in nature.

This mother just can’t stand her son being left alone. Don’t worry, baby will stay close to momma, right on top of her head.

So Comfy

Around 5 or 6 months of age, the joey will crawl out of the pouch and climb up onto his mother’s back. He has now graduated from “pouch young” to “back young.” The baby koala will ride around up there until Mom kicks him out of the house around the time he turns 1 year old.

Kids in general feel the safest when they are near their moms. Just like this little dude right here. Looks like he has found his perfect spot to relax. Mom on the other hand just seems helpless.

Are We Having Fun Yet?

Puppies should nurse strongly, up to 45 minutes at a time. Nursing should at least be once a day for a healthy pup.

This mom’s expression says it all. Have kids they said..it would be fun they said. Hang in there momma, you got this!

Babies Everywhere!

Lionesses, give birth away from her pride. They can give birth to 1 to 4 cubs. Since the cubs are born completely helpless, she will keep them hidden from all animals, including her own pride.

From hunting, being fearless in the jungle, to being a mom. It’s not like she’s complaining but surely, it’s a huge adjustment especially being lioness and all.

Private Time

Turtles will lay eggs on shore and when the babies hatch, they are pretty much on their own. Female turtles do not care for their young. They are born to basically survive on their own from birth.

Somehow, this momma turtle can’t get some alone time. We’re guessing little one doesn’t even know how they got up there! So adorable!

Why swim when you can ride?

Swans live with their young for 6 to 9 months. The male father will usually protect the mom and babies from predators.

This adorable photo sums up a mom’s life. Even if these little ones have webbed feet, they’d rather ride with their mom. We get it, it’s a wise way to travel.

Sleeping Like A Baby

Depending on breed and sizes of dogs can depend on their litter size. The largest litter on record was 24 puppies, born to Mastiff breed dog. That is a lot of puppies!

Look at this momma and her litter of babies. There are a lot of them and they are so adorable.I’m impressed with how she got them all to sleep.

Swimming Time

Did you know that black and brown bear cubs are not able to swim until they are around 30 pounds?

These two baby bears are just old enough to swim with mom.  Mom will lead the way why the babies follow her curiously and safely.

Just A Nibble

Lion cubs play by stalking each other. They like to play hid and seek and wrestle. Or in this picture, they like to play with mom’s tail.

Most babies like to bite on everything. You’d think that with their small teeth it won’t hurt, but it does. It really does!

Send help

The average litter size for a golden retriever is eight puppies. Litter sizes vary from four to 12 puppies for goldens!

This mom will need assistance, especially if it’s their first time. This adorable dog seems to be asking for help with that look on her face. She just delivered a ton of puppies. Welcome to motherhood!

Mom, Wake Up!

It is so hard to get our little ones to sleep and then they are also so quick to wake up?

Just when you are sound asleep, you’ll feel whispers, a tug, a kiss, and whatever way your child thinks of just to wake you up. Morning mom!

Tired Mom

Koalas are sleepers. They sleep for 18 hours out of 24. This is a strategy to conserve their energy as the eucalyptus leaf, their food, is so low in nutrients/energy value.

This momma is catching up on her sleep. It’s nice she is getting a break from her baby who is sleeping in her pouch.

I Love You Mom

Orangutan mother’s seem to be the most like human mother’s. They stay with their young for six to eight years. They teach them where to find food, what and how to eat. In addition, how to avoid predators and the technique for building a sleeping nest.

You can just see the love that is shared between this mother and baby. It’s an amazing bond.

Catch Me!

A young female horse is called a filly, and a young male horse is called a colt. When the baby is first born it is called a foal. Foals play infrequently, consisting mainly of short bucks and runs while close to the mother.

When your kids want to play tag and you have no choice but play along. This mom and baby look like they are just doing what they are supposed to be doing, running free.

That first time mom look

After giving birth and feeding puppies, the mother is going to be noticeably tired and she will need good food to keep her energy up.

This dog surely understands the “first time” mom look. Someone get her a snack!

Time For Bed

Like other types of bears, giant pandas are curious and playful, especially when they’re young.

This mommy panda has had enough. It’s time for bed, period! Why do they have so much energy when it’s time to sleep?

We get it

This momma dog was found hiding from her 6 pups in the morning. We understand right? Sometimes, we just need a couple of minutes to ourselves.

We know that there’s nothing quite like a mother’s love. After this, we know that moms from the animal kingdom are no exception.
